BEFORE STARTING ENGINE

[ ] Brakes	TEST AND SET (press CTRL+PERIOD key)
[ ] Electrical Equipment, Autopilot	OFF
[ ] Avionics Master Switch	OFF
[ ] Fuel Shut Off Valve	OPEN
[ ] Carburetor Heat	FREE & OFF

ENGINE START

Press CTRL+E to initiate engine autostart sequence, or:

[ ] Throttle	OPEN 1/4 INCH (press F3 or F2 as necessary)
[ ] Mixture	RICH (press CTRL+SHIFT+F3 until fully forward)
[ ] Propeller Area	CLEAR
[ ] Master Switch	ON
[ ] Fuel Pump Switch	ON
[ ] Ignition Switch	START (release when engine starts) (press M+PLUS key to R, L, Both, Start)

Then:

[ ] Oil Pressure	CHECK
[ ] Fuel Pump	CHECK
[ ] Nav Lights	ON as required
[ ] Avionics Master Switch	ON
[ ] Flaps	RETRACT (press F6 until Up)

BEFORE TAKEOFF

[ ] Canopy	CLOSED & LOCKED (press SHFT+E)
[ ] Parking Brake	SET (press CTRL+PERIOD)
[ ] Flight Controls	FREE AND CORRECT
[ ] Flight Instruments	CHECK and SET
[ ] Fuel Quantity	CHECK

[ ] Fuel Shut Off Valve	RECHECK OPEN
[ ] Carburetor Heat	FREE & OFF
[ ] Elevator Trim	SET for takeoff (with Num Lock off, press Num Pad 1 or Num Pad 7 as necessary)
[ ] Throttle	1800 RPM (press F3 or F2 as necessary)
[ ] Magnetos	CHECK <150 RPM drop on each; <50 RPM drop between (press M+MINUS key, then press M+PLUS key to L, R, L, Both)
[ ] Engine Instruments and Ammeter	CHECK
[ ] Throttle	1000 RPM or less (press F2 or F3 as necessary)
[ ] Strobe Lights	AS DESIRED
[ ] Autopilot	OFF
[ ] Wing Flaps	SET for takeoff (15 degrees) (press F7 or F6 as necessary)
[ ] Brakes	RELEASE (press PERIOD key)

TAKEOFF
[ ] Fuel Pump Switch	OFF

[ ] Wing Flaps	15 degrees (press F7 or F6 as necessary)
[ ] Throttle	FULL OPEN (press F3 until full forward)
[ ] Mixture	Check RICH (press CTRL+SHIFT+F3 until fully forward)
[ ] Elevator Control	LIFT NOSE WHEEL (at 55-60 KIAS)
[ ] Climb Speed	70-80 KIAS

EN ROUTE CLIMB

[ ] Airspeed	70-85 KIAS
[ ] Throttle	FULL OPEN (press F3 as necessary)
[ ] Mixture	CHECK RICH (press CTRL+SHIFT+F3 until fully forward)
[ ] Wing Flaps	UP (press F6 as necessary)

CRUISE

[ ] Power	2100-2550 RPM (press F2 or F3 as necessary)
[ ] Elevator Trim	ADJUST (with Num Lock off, press Num Pad 1 or Num Pad 7 as necessary)
[ ] Mixture	LEAN or as required (press CTRL+SHIFT+F2 until LEVER is approx midway)

DESCENT

[ ] Power	AS DESIRED (press F2 or F3 as necessary)
[ ] Mixture	RICH (press CTRL+SHIFT+F3 until LEVER is full forward)
[ ] Fuel Selector Valve	CHECK

BEFORE LANDING


[ ] Mixture	Check RICH (press CTRL+SHIFT+F3 until fully forward)
[ ] Carburetor Heat	FREE & ON
[ ] Landing/Taxi Lights	ON

LANDING

[ ] Airspeed	65-75 KIAS (flaps UP)
[ ] Wing Flaps	AS DESIRED 15 degrees <106 KIAS 30 degrees <65 KIAS (press F6 or F7 as necessary)
[ ] Airspeed	60-70 KIAS (flaps DOWN)
[ ] Touchdown	MAIN WHEELS FIRST
[ ] Landing Roll	LOWER NOSE WHEEL GENTLY
[ ] Braking	MINIMUM REQUIRED (press PERIOD key)

AFTER LANDING

[ ] Wing Flaps	UP (press F6 as necessary)

SECURING AIRPLANE

[ ] Parking Brake	SET (press CTRL+PERIOD)
[ ] Avionics Master Switch, Electrical Equipment, Autopilot	OFF
[ ] Ignition Switch	OFF (press M+MINUS key until Off)
[ ] Master Switch	OFF
[ ] Fuel Selector Valve	CLOSED to prevent cross feeding
