BULL RUN
Today we are piloting a cargo flight in the DC-6 freighter from Mexico City to Costa Rica. Our cargo is a bit unusual....a load of live bulls for the holiday bullfights. The weather is not very nice, but our flight from San Jose to Mexico yesterday was completely uneventful. Actually the DC-6 is performing exceptionally well. Our biggest risk is making sure our cargo is well contained and can't move around, and keeping an eye on the dangerous terrain enroute in this limited visability. We don't want to fly too high as our pressurization isn't working and we need to be certain our cargo arrives in good health!
Location
We start our flight 50 miles west of Guatemala City, enroute for San Jose, Costa Rica. We are planning a stop in Guatemala City (MGGT) to add some fuel. Have a nice flight, Captain!
Prerequisites
Before flying this mission, you should be familiar with the operation of the DC-6,
the use of its autopilot, and in particular, emergency procedures. You will enjoy the mission more if you fly in Spot Mode when possible.
