Grand Caravan Companion
A series of adventurous flights to celebrate one of the most versatile aircrafts. Whether it’s bringing supplies to a flooded village in the mountains of Peru, transporting an injured person from a remote lake in Alaska or giving an archaeologist access to a tiny site in the African desert, the Caravan has what it takes to get the job done.
This package gives you a realistic flying experience in a variety of scenarios.
Eight excursions are provided to explore fantastic places around the world. The adventure becomes both discovery and cultural enrichment, thanks to the narrator who, in addition to directions, also provides detailed information on each location flown over.
• ANDEAN MOUNTAIN HOP – Fly over some of the picturesque locations in the Peruvian Andes.
• SKYLINE SOARING – Departing Silver West Airport in Custer County, Colorado, and continues fly over of the picturesque towns of Westcliffe, Coaldale and Salida, before crossing the Arkansas Valley. The flight ends at the Aspen, well known for its unique landing challenges.
• RIVIERA MAYA – Visit a strip of Caribbean coastline northeast of Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula. It is known for its many all-inclusive resorts, such as those in the city of Playa del Carmen, and its long beaches.
• MESMERIZING DESERT – A scenic flight from the Grand Canyon National Park to Las Vegas is a unique adventure experience. The journey takes you through the magnificent natural landscape of the Grand Canyon.
• FLORIDA KEYS – Experience a journey through the beauty of the islands of the Florida Keys, an archipelago of about 1,700 islands in the southeastern United States.
• A COAST TO COAST IN ITALY – A Coast to Coast adventure that will take you from the Adriatic Sea to the Tyrrhenian Sea. A unique mix of sea, hills, countryside and historic towns.
• PUNTA CANA – An adventurous flight that gives you the opportunity to take in the beauty of the Dominican Republic and discover its points of interest.
• SWISS ALPS – A VFR flight from St. Gallen to Sion to admire the natural beauty of the Swiss Alps in their winter guise.
All excursions are accompanied by detailed route directions and accurate descriptions of the points of interest flown over. These include geographical, historical and cultural news.
