Two BOEING 707 DEPARTURES in 10 Minutes + BOEING 787 of Royal Jordanian

Two BOEING 707 DEPARTURES in 10 Minutes + BOEING 787 of Royal Jordanianyesterday I had to wake up at 04:30am because an Ilyushin IL76 of Volga Dnepr was expected at Düsseldorf Airport at 06:00am. After I filmed it I visited Geilenkirchen Airport which is known for one of the biggest Boeing 707 homebases in 2020. For a classic airplane fan like me it` s unbelieveable to have a Boeing 707 homebase near my hometown in 2020! At around 09:00am two Boeing 707` s departed with incredible sound. One of them performed an approach training at Ingolstadt for about 3 hours.

After filming the B707 at Geilenkirchen I continued to Maastricht Airport (20km apart) to film a Boeing 787 of Royal Jordanian which operates cargo flights between Amman and Maastricht. The Jordanian Cargo A310 which normally operates all cargo flights for Royal Jordanian is currently in maintenance in Doha where it receives two new engines and a new gear.
