Royal Air Force KC-2 Voyager (Airbus A330-200MRTT) Arriving + Departing | Toronto Pearson Int’l

Royal Air Force KC-2 Voyager (Airbus A330-200MRTT) Arriving + Departing | Toronto Pearson Int’lWhat a catch this bird was! Just amazing! A Royal Air Force KC-2 Voyager- the English Airbus A330-200MRTT making its first ever visit to Toronto; now being the third Airbus A330-200MRTT tanker to visit Toronto behind the French Air Force and the Royal Australian Air Force. The aircraft was here to transport Canadian Armed Forces troops to Latvia since the current Royal Canadian Air Force CC-150 Polaris (Airbus A310-300MRTT) fleet is struggling (5 aircraft) with only two Polaris’ converted into tankers, one that isn’t and the Prime Ministers aircraft currently damaged.

The flight came in as RRR2880 from Brize Norton on RWY 24R at 2032hrs and taxied to be parked at the North Lounge where it was towed in. After an overnight, they loaded on a full set of troops the next day and departed as RRR2280 to Riga on RWY 23 at 1555hrs. Enjoy the video everyone!

Cheers,
Ernest G.
