P3D – Royal Air Force Leuchars. Royal Air Force Leuchars or RAF Leuchar was a ?Royal Air Force? station located in ?Leuchars?, Fife, on the east coast of ?Scotland?. Throughout the Cold War and beyond, the station was home to fighter aircraft which policed northern UK airspace. The station ceased to be an RAF station at 12:00 hrs on 31 March 2015 when it became ?Leuchars Station? and control of the site was transferred to the ?British Army?. During the period that has been modelled, the station was home to RAF 56 OCU, 43 and 111 squadrons that operated the Panavia Tornado F3. Also the base plays host to a University Air Squadron (UAS). This Scenery has been developed/Converted to P3D v4.5 standard so users outside of this version of the simulator may experience issues that are out of my control and limited support will be given to non 4.5 users. It is also worth noting that this scenery has been designed to work with 3rd party addons such as JF VFR scenery and/or Orbx True Earth, users without these sceneries may experience issues with the coastline that were beyond my expertise to rectify.
