PILOTS WAVING | TUS Air Fokker 70 Takeoff from SKIATHOS Airport | Plane Spotting [4K] & ATCWith TUS Airways having suspended operations, this was one of the airline’s last departures out of the scenic Skiathos Airport, a plane spotter’s paradise. Enjoy a spectacular taxi close to the plane spotters, and a powerful static takeoff, flown by what has become a rare aircraft type nowadays. 5B-DDF, a TUS Air Fokker 70, previously owned by KLM Cityhopper, now in storage at BTS Bratislava airport. The TUS team now promises to emerge after COVID as “ELA Airways”, with a new fleet of possibly larger capacity airliners. Enjoy this landing and listen to the ATC communications as the pilots depart from runway 01, just after opening both of their cockpit DV windows to wave to the plane spotters!
