Nearing into Christmas and Toronto has been getting some good cargo movements as of late. Earlier we had a Volga Dnepr Ilyushin IL-76 visit for a short duration to load on some cargo. Now today we had an Atlas Air Boeing 747-400F from Zaragoza inbound as GTI8001 which landed on RWY 23 shortly before 1850hrs. This was the first visit of the year by one of their -400F’s so it was quite a nice catch indeed!
The crew were told they couldn’t park at Stand 501 at the Cargo West due to the gate being occupied so they went to VISTA Cargo to unload instead and then got towed to Stand 505 at the Cargo West for an overnight. Enjoy the video everyone!
