RARE! SPU Runway 05 Left Turn Takeoff! – SAS Boeing 737This is one of the rarest sights at Split airport! Due to the proximity of the Kozjak mountain 99.9% of takeoffs from runway 05 are right hand turn. But in this case, this SAS 737 pilot decided to go on a direct route instead of a right hand circle out of SPU. The plane was with no passengers since its short takeoff and high climb rate.
