FSX – Holtville L04 Airport. Holtville (L04) is a former naval auxiliary airfield that served a number of main and satellite facilities in imperial and san diego counties including the Salton Sea Naval Seaplane Base, El Centro NAF, the Borrego Maneuver Area, Miramar NAS, San Diego NAS, and the Chocolate mountains bombing range.] Although the field appears to be closed, it remained marked on FAA maps as late as 2017 and routinely plays host to a variety of military traffic including Marine Corps helicopters and special operations parachute training.
