45+ Minutes Watching Airplanes – Planespotting Portland International Airport KPDX / PDXHad a fantastic time plane spotting at Portland International Airport KPDX/PDX in Portland, Oregon. This being the second edition I’ve done from the top of the parking garage there. I’ve been to many a famous planespotting location and this is one of my favorites ever. The variety is good, the unexpected happens from time to time and the weather was nice and mild for this time of year. I was really hoping for more F-15 takeoffs and action but this was filmed over the weekend and weekdays are probably better for that. I did get lucky with a Boeing paint repo going to the Portland Boeing Paint Facility to get it’s new Qatar Airways colors before delivery and a couple stray F-18s that happened by as well as a couple cargo 747s.
