DELIVERY! Sunwing’s First Boeing 737 MAX 8 Arriving @ Toronto Pearson Int’l May 25, 2018Hello everyone! Welcome to this video!
Here is the delivery flight of the very first Boeing 737 MAX 8 for Sunwing. Great to have another MAX added to another airline at Toronto Pearson Int’l Airport. Congrats to Sunwing on getting the Boeing 737 MAX!
With WestJet and Air Canada already flying the Boeing 737 MAX 8 to Toronto and obviously based out of here, Sunwing becomes the third airline to fly and have the Boeing 737 MAX 8 based out of Toronto. The aircraft (C-FMXA) was involved in several testing flights as per standard circumstances before the delivery flight was filed in on 25MAY18. The original arrival was planned for 1700hrs which changed to 2100hrs from the Boeing Field. The aircraft landed on RWY 23 with several of us snapping pictures and filming and then taxied to Terminal 3 where it dropped off some Sunwing personnel before getting towed to the Sunwing hangars to get prepared for the first day of revenue service the next day.
FYI for those who don’t know, Sunwing’s second Boeing 737 MAX 8 will feature a special Royalton Resorts livery, to be delivered in one to two weeks time.
