Icelandair, Oneworld and Other Airlines, Chicago O’Hare International AirportA dream finally came true for me as Icelandair finally started service to Chicago O’Hare International Airport KORD / ORD last month. I was unable to make it down for the inaugural arrival but I did manage to visit Chicago recently and nab a video of it arriving on 27R. Oddly, this does fly to Minneapolis, Minneapolis St. Paul International Airport KMSP / MSP as well, where I currently reside, but I caught it at O’Hare first. I do plan to include it in more videos from MSP at some point in future.

as ICE#853, ICE#852 is the return flight (not filmed since it departs later at night).
A flight of around 3,000 sm both ways, 5 1/2 hours of flight time.
