Rare: First Air Boeing 737-200 Landing RWY 05 @ Toronto Pearson Int’l October 1, 2015IN THIS VIDEO: Hello everyone! Today I went spotting to catch the RARE: El Al Israel sending in a Boeing 777-200ER instead of the regular Boeing 767-300ER used on the flight. On the way back we just happened to see on Flight Radar 24, an Air Yukon Boeing 727-200 on finals for RWY 05 but seeing the traffic we knew we weren’t going to get there in time. But we had no clue on this one. I was talking with the spotters 2 hours later and saw some smoky bird on final for RWY 05. The second I said that, one of the spotters who just happened to be checking the radar said “Holy crap, a First Air Boeing 737-200 is on final”. We ran to our cameras and got set up in a heart beat. And boy was it worth it. We had no idea of it ourselves but out of nowhere an awesome First Air Boeing 737-200 had graced us with it’s presence in such awesome lighting, you couldn’t even have asked for it to be better. Enjoy the video!!

Rare Calculator: Medium Rare. I’d say a 6/10 since there are only between 5-10 First Air flights to Toronto in a year, not very common here.
