Thunderbird #8 arrives at MacDill ahead of the weekend’s Tampa Bay AirFest 2016. The United States Air Force Aerial Demonstration Squadron, the Thunderbirds began arriving at MacDill Air Force Base for Tampa Bay Airfest 2016. The first of the pilots to land was #8, Maj. Scott Petz, along with his crew chief, Staff Sgt. Conrad Nelson. Maj. Petz performed aerial maneuvers for onlookers before landing safely to begin preparations for the air show.
