The LEGENDARY Boeing 707 – DEPARTURE with lots of smokeThe legendary Boeing 707 of the Us Air Force ( Boeing E-8c ) visited the NATO Air Base of Geilenkirchen last week. It departed back to the USA but needed the assitance of a KC-135 tanker airplane because the distance was too long for this classic jet liner. We had to wait five hours because the KC-135 wasn` t able to depart at Mildenhall due to bad weahter but waiting on the coldness was worth it. These Boeign 707′ s are slowly dying out.
