Windshear Alert!Storm Imogen this time responsible for the difficulties experienced by this Lufthansa flight from Frankfurt to Birmingham, in the strong crosswinds of 8th February 2016.

The plane’s wind shear alarm activated on approach to runway 33, so to avoid a potentially dangerous landing the pilot ‘went around’ for a second go.
