Spectacular Landings at Skiathos

Spectacular LOW Landings at Skiathos – European St. MaartenSkiathos is an awesome place. You are able to see planes flying very low above the street behind the runway and when they depart you stand in the middle of the jetstream which is quite spectacular. The biggest plane which is allowed to land in Skiathos is a Boeing 757-200 because the runway has a lenght of 1850 meters (6000ft). That` s the reason why post pilots choose a very low approach to touch down on the runway as soon as possible. Spending some days in Skiathos is realy fun. You can see people being blown away by the jetstream or you can just enjoy the landscampe of this beautiful island.
