How I Built my Home Cockpit – Step by Step Construction of my Cheap and Easy Sim – PMDG Boeing 737A step by step guide on how I built my own cheap and easy home cockpit. The whole point of it is for it to be universal and use the minimum amount of software. Thus, I simply use FSX and adjust the 2D panels to fit the instrument screen. The instrument panel screen is positioned nearly at eye-level so I can use it as my normal PC monitor when not flying.
