Spotting at Philadelphia International Airport – January 17, 2015
This video covers an entire day of a spotting trip to Philadelphia International Airport, when PHL was utilizing operations on the 9s for my first spotting trip in 2015. This was a trip with the goal to get as much Boeing 767-200 operations as possible, seeing as of the date of the video, the 767 would be gone from the US Airways fleet four weeks later. The first two hours of my visit to PHL featured arrivals to 9R and 35 and departures from 9L and 8, with the airport switching to the 27s for the remainder of the day. Several specials were observed arriving and departing that day, and each one that was seen is caught in this video (two are from Southwest Airlines and two are from US Airways and one of them is the newest retro jet for American Airlines!). All video was shot between 9:45 AM and 4:45 PM.
I apologize for the very short black or white blips that may or may not appear in the video, as they are caused by dropped frames.
