X-Plane 10.30 – Nepal Lukla-Everest VNLK Tenzing-Hillary Airport, Lukla, VNSB Syangboche.
Requires X-Plane v10.30 or higher. Lukla is the starting point for trekkers and climbers to explore Sagarmatha National Park and Mt. Everest.

Runway length is about 1700 ft (527m) Elevation is 9100 ft (2843m).
Runway slope averages about 10 degrees.
In RL it’s used mostly by DHC-6 Twin Otter and Dornier D0-228. There are also helicopter services and a Yeti airlines Pilatus TurboPorter service between Lukla and Syangboche.

 Syangboche airstrip also slopes severely.

The tents at Everest base camp are about 4km NE of Gorak Shep (Helipad codes are fictional but shows on the map view and GPS) Helipads are close to actual locations but may not be on level XP terrain.

Nearby villages, hotels, bridges, stupas, etc, are all custom objects in local styles as close to their actual locations as XP terrain permits.
There are some graphics anomalies, as part of rwy24 end is below XP terrain level: that part of your aircraft below ground is invisible. For VNLK to show correctly Global Shadows should be OFF. Use 3d on aircraft shadow detail to avoid shadow at rwy 24 end.
