X-Plane 10 – Scenery Jura Airstrip, Scotland, UK, 2.0. The Jura airstrip is located on the Isle of Jura, one of the remote islands in the far west of Scotland. To the East you have Glasgow and to the West the United States of America, but don’t try that in a Cessna! The airstrip is an extremely short grass airstrip and located very close to the beach, so makes for some interesting approaches when the wind blows! It is mainly used by Scottish Air Ambulance crews flying in the area, with many people actually preferring to use the nearby larger Oban or Islay airfields. It has been made using WED, OpenSceneryX and the People Library from AXDG. Once again a big thanks to Chris Noe for supplying the St Andrews cross and Paul Mort for the water cooler.
