FSX Movie – Operation Black Buck

This will more than likely be my last major project undertaken on this channel, as in the coming months I will be preparing to apply to various flight schools and hopefully will be accepted. This project was by far my most ambitious and complex project I’ve ever undertaken.

The project was based around the real world raid on the Falkland islands on the 30th of April 1982 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operatio…). I’ve tried to recreate the raid as realistically as possible in FSX and I don’t want to cause offence to anyone. I’m simply recreating an Operation that took place. I find the Operation fascinating not for its military success, but for the Logistics success and using aircraft that by 1982 were somewhat of a relic but still got the job done when called upon for the first time in its operational history.
