The aircraft taxis towards the runway, stands while waiting for clearance from Air Traffic Control, ATC to take off, the take off itself, Rotate aircraft gaining altitude and the aircraft banking right on its climb out of Manchester International Airport on its way to Orlando International in the United States of America. Virgin Atlantic Airways was founded on 22nd June 1984 by Sir Richard Branson and began operations with a single Boeing 747-200 aircraft, which operated the airlines first flight to New York Newark Airport from London’s Gatwick Airport. The airline has since grown rapidly, expanding its routes and destinations with its connections with Virgin Holidays for leisure and business travel. Virgin Atlantic was the launch customer for the extended Airbus A340 aircraft the Airbus A340-600 series airplane. Virgin Atlantic in 2012 currently operate a fleet with four types of airplanes, which are the Airbus A330-300, A340-300, A340-600 and the Boeing 747-400 airplane, these aircraft are painted in the company’s three liveries, which are sliver and a blue boarder around the tail of the aircraft, the 2007 livery and the latest 2010 title’s, which has seen Virgin Atlantic introduce larger titles and also including the award winning airlines name on the belly of the aircraft, ‘Virgin Atlantic’
