The three and a half year agreement, reached with the Flight Attendants Association of Australia – International Division, (FAAA), will ensure Qantas continues to offer very competitive pay and employment conditions for cabin crew in Australia.
This is the fifteenth EBA reached at Qantas since late 2011 and applies to around 3,400 customer service managers, customer service supervisors and flight attendants.
Almost 85 per cent of employees who voted were in favour of the new agreement.
Qantas International Chief Executive Officer Simon Hickey said the airline was pleased that cabin crew had reached a new agreement.
“Qantas is a great employer and we continue to offer excellent opportunities, pay and conditions for our employees,” Mr Hickey said.
“Our cabin crew play a vital safety and customer service role for our passengers during every single flight and we are extremely proud of the work that they do.
“We have been able to negotiate a good outcome with the FAAA.”
