SuperJet International signs a SuperCare Agreement with Yakutia Airlines

78a832388e7c09784aab026092b4313fSuperJet International (SJI) – a joint venture between Alenia Aermacchi and Sukhoi Holding – announced the execution of a “SuperCare” Agreement with the second Russian operator of the Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft Yakutia Airlines for after-sales support of its SSJ100 fleet of 2 aircraft.

SuperJet International will provide Yakutia Airlines with customized spares availability and maintenance-repair solutions of on-board equipments for a minimum term of 3 years.

The “SuperCare” agreement is a comprehensive “per-flight-hour” program developed by SJI with the aim of maximizing aircraft availability to operators and optimizing their maintenance and associated administrative costs.

“It is a further important milestone which confirms the SuperJet international’s fundamental commitment and role in the SSJ100 Program – states Nazario Cauceglia, Chief Executive Officer of SuperJet International – Similar “SuperCare” agreements were also signed in the last two years with other SSJ100 operators – continued Mr. Cauceglia – thus showing the success of this integrated lifecycle solution specifically designed for our valuable SSJ100 customers and its unquestionable added value”.

“This solution is going to strengthen the support for our SSJ100 fleet – says Ivan Prostit, Chief Executive Officer of Yakutia Airlines – the cooperation in the frame of the agreement signed with SJI will allow a prompt shipment of components from the SJI pool. We note positively that the pool inventory, the scope of the agreement  and also the rate per flight hour are based not only on maintenance program and expected reliability of components, but also on in-service experience and reports”.

In addition SuperJet International, which is in charge of worldwide after-sales services and training, is providing Yakutia Airlines with Flight Crew and Maintenance staff training courses, along with on-site support in Yakutsk.
