Dublin-based global aircraft lessor, AWAS, announced today that it has appointed Philip Jackmauh as General Counsel and head of its newly consolidated Legal Department. This new structure combines the business’ former Office of General Counsel and Business & Legal Services team, thus merging corporate governance and transactional functions into one integrated group.

Since joining AWAS in January, 2008, Philip Jackmauh has assembled and directs aglobal legal team situated in Dublin, New York, Miami, and Singapore, responsible for structuring and negotiating aircraft acquisition, lease and financing transactions with commercial airlines and banks throughout Europe, Asia and the Americas.Philip is a graduate of Dartmouth College, Hanover, New Hampshire. He earned his J.D. from Suffolk University Law School, Boston, Massachusetts, and has completed additional work in the L.L.M. Taxation program at the Georgetown University Law Center, Washington, D.C.
