THAI’s First A380 takeoff

THAI’s no. 1 A380 takes off from Airbus’ Toulouse, France facility on 28 September 2012 for a flight to Bangkok in advance of the milestone jetliner’s service entry.  

This 507 seat aircraft — which is the first of six the airline has on order — will operate on THAI’s Bangkok to Singapore and Bangkok to Hong-Kong routes when it begins revenue operations in October.
