Sydney Airport: Bienvenidos Buenos Aires

Aerolineas Argentinas is now flying non-stop between Sydney and Buenos Aires with the first

service landing at Sydney Airport this afternoon.

“This new service will cut at least three hours of travelling time and means that passengers will

be able to travel non-stop from Buenos Aires to Sydney,” Sydney Airport chief executive Kerrie

Mather said.

“Latin America is one of our major growth markets with more Australians discovering its amazing

cities and incredible natural attractions.

“More Latin Americans – particularly younger travellers – are also visiting Australia each year,

with average growth over the past 20 years of nearly 10 per cent – well above the average of six

per cent growth in international passengers a year.

Aerolineas Argentinas’s new non-stop Buenos Aires service departs Sydney three times a week

on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
