Iberia and Allianz Global Assistance renew long-term partnership agreement
Iberia, leading Spanish airline, and Allianz Global Assistance, world leader in Travel Insurance and Assistance solutions, have announced the signing of a renewed partnership agreement for another three years. This renewed partnership, which promotes the sale of travel insurance policies via the airline carrier’s merchant website www.iberia.com, leader in visits and online sales in Spain, secures Allianz Global Assistance as the uncontested leader in the provision of online travel insurance and assistance.
The Allianz Global Assistance – Iberia.com agreement was originally signed in 2006. It has expanded greatly since then and today covers a total of 19 countries, including Spain, France, Italy, the United States and Brazil. Last year Allianz Global Assistance provided online travel insurance to more than 225.000 Iberia customers.
When purchasing airline tickets at iberia.com, travellers are able to purchase online travel insurance including extensive covers on ticket cancellation, medical assistance, lost or damaged luggage, and repatriation, to travel safe and with total peace of mind.
