US Airways Connects Cincinnati and Des Moines with Washington, D.C.’s Reagan National Airport

 Today US Airways (NYSE: LCC) began connecting its customers in Cincinnati and Des Moines, Iowa with the launch of new daily, nonstop flights to Washington, D.C.’s Reagan National Airport. Business, government and leisure travelers in both communities will have nonstop access to the nation’s capital’s downtown airport and connections to other destinations throughout the East Coast with the new flights. 


On March 25, US Airways began connecting its customers in 11 communities with new nonstop service to the District’s downtown airport. The airline also recently announced new service to six additional communities that will begin later this spring and summer. As of July 11, US Airways will have a total of 22 nonstop routes to communities of all sizes served from Reagan National. 

“We are excited to link our customers in the Midwest to the District’s downtown airport,” said Andrew Nocella, US Airways’ senior vice president, marketing and planning. “US Airways is pleased to launch service in these communities and to provide our customers with direct access to Reagan National.”
