Dragonair’s Asian Delights Menu Offers Passengers Signature Dishes from Nine Asian Countries

Dragonair has unveiled its new Asian Delights menu which comprises signature dishes from nine Asian countries – Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Indonesia, India and the Philippines. Business Class passengers on Dragonair flights to and from Beijing and Shanghai can now enjoy the many delights from this Asia-inspired menu until mid-April 2013.

Dragonair has introduced the Asian Delights menu following feedback received from focus groups conducted last year. Passengers expressed a preference for having different Asian dishes served on flights, so Dragonair came up with this new menu that includes over 80 different dishes drawn from the cuisines of nine different Asian countries. The menu features a range of popular Asian specialties including Singaporean coconut rice, Malaysian laksa, tom yum from Thailand, Indian curry, miso dishes from Japan, Korean ginseng and many more.

Dragonair General Manager Inflight Services Cecilia Leung said: “Asian tastes have become increasingly popular among our passengers and now, thanks to a great effort by our catering team and catering provider, we are offering a wider range of exciting Asian dishes to satisfy customers’ needs. We hope our passengers enjoy the Asian Delights choices no matter whether they are on business trips or leisure journeys with family or friends.”
