TRANSAERO AIRLINES ANNOUNCES 48% PASSENGER NUMBER GROWTH IN FEBRUARY AND OPERATIONAL RESULTS FOR FIRST TWO MONTHS OF 2012

 Transaero Airlines results for the first two months of 2012 demonstrate the carrier’s stable development and increase of all key operational indicators. 

In February 2012: 
 Transaero Airlines passenger turnover constituted 2.635 billion RPK (34.3% more than in February 2011) 
 The total number of passengers carried amounted to 546,479 (48% increase in comparison with the same month last year) 
 Transaero transported a total amount of 3,666.17 tons of cargo (28% increase in comparison with February of 2011) 
 Cargo traffic totaled 0.257 billion RTK (33.2% increase in comparison with the same period last year). 
In January-February 2011: 
• Passenger turnover reached 5.576 billion RPK (25% increase in comparison with the first two months of 2011) 
• The total number of passengers carried amounted to 1,149,839 (33.9% increase in comparison with the same period last year) 
• Transaero transported a total amount of 6,678.58 tons of cargo (27.5% increase in comparison with January-February of 2011) 
• Cargo traffic totaled 0.538 billion RTK (24.8% increase in comparison with the same period last year).
