At Adria Airways supervisory board meeting, the members confirmed the procedure for selling Adria Airways and selecting a financial adviser

At yesterday’s supervisory board meeting, the members discussed the company’s current business, questions regarding Adria Airways Tehnika and confirmed the procedure for selling Adria Airways and selecting a financial adviser. Under Miscellaneous, Klemen Boštjanèiè, President of the Management Board, was deposed and a new president appointed. However, after a heated discussion, the supervisory board members established that they had failed to take into account the legal aspects involved in the role of the management board president of an airline; under the Adria Airways memorandum of association, the management board president is also the accountable manager. Consequently, Vinko Može, President of the Supervisory Board, resigned irrevocably and with immediate effect, while the remaining supervisory board members revoked the decision to depose Mr. Boštjanèiè and the decision to appoint a new management board president. Klemen Boštjanèiè thus remains the Adria Airways management board president.

After the supervisory board meeting was over, the company was informed about the resignation statements made on 27.3.2012 by Tadej Krašovec, Silva Rogelj and Darja Mataj.
