Doric Awarded a Remarketing Mandate for Two Airbus A319s

Doric Asset Finance is pleased to announce a further mandate for the remarketing of two Airbus A319s. The Doric Group with offices in Europe and the US was appointed as a remarketing agent for the two aircraft.

“We are currently leading negotiations with several interested airlines to achieve the best possible contractual arrangements for our customers. We expect to be able to appoint a new lessee for the aircraft very shortly”, commented Maurick Groeneveld, Director of Aircraft Management at Doric.

In the first quarter of 2011, Doric Asset Finance was able to successfully position two A319s with the Berlin-based operator Germania. After the bankruptcy of the previous lessee and under challenging market conditions, the Doric Aviation team managed to remarket both Airbus A319s in just seven weeks after the start of the remarketing phase.

The current aircraft portfolio under asset management of Doric Asset Finance comprises 25 aircraft valued at USD 3.8 billion.
