US Airways Announces Executive Changes in Finance and Human Resources

US Airways (NYSE: LCC) today announced the promotion of Keith Bush to
the position of senior vice president, finance and the appointment of
Ryan Price to the position of vice president, human resources. With
these appointments, the number of officers remains unchanged and both
have been approved by the airline s Board of Directors.

Keith Bush Senior Vice President, Finance

As Senior Vice President, Finance, Bush will continue to be responsible
for developing and managing the airline s capital and operating budgets
as well as overseeing long-range planning, airline profitability and
fleet analysis. He will also lead the airline s insurance and risk
management divisions. In this role, Bush will continue to report to
Chief Financial Officer Derek Kerr.

has made to our company. Keith is a proven leader and since joining our
team, he has played a key role in the continued development of our
finance organization. We look forward to his continued contributions,
said Kerr.

Bush has nearly two decades of aviation industry financial
planning/analysis and treasury experience. He earned his Master of
Business Administration degree, with a concentration in finance and
strategic management, from Case Western Reserve in Cleveland and his
Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from Butler University in
Indianapolis.

Ryan Price Vice President, Human Resources

Ryan Price assumes the role of vice president, human resources. Price
succeeds Dan Pon, who will be leaving US Airways at the end of the year.
In this role, Price will oversee the airline s Human Resources division
including the health and retirement benefits, compensation,
travel/relocation, employee relations, HR systems, and recruitment and
staffing. He will report directly to Executive Vice President, People,
Communications and Public Affairs Elise Eberwein.

Ryan possesses the right combination of skills to lead our people
services division during these economically challenging times and serve
as a champion for our 32,000 co-workers, said Eberwein. Under Ryan s
leadership, we look forward to continuing to build upon the solid
foundation put into place by Dan over the past four years.

Price joined the airline in April 2011 as managing director,
compensation and benefits after spending 14 years at Continental where
he served as managing director – global medical programs. He earned his
Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resource Management/Organizational
Psychology from Texas A&M University.
