Sonic Solutions – Sky Crane SoundPack

This is the first helicopter sound pack for FSX from sound designer Vance Dylan of Sonic SOlutions. With the blessing of Nemeth Designs, this sound pack is for the Erickson S-64E Air Crane & Sikorsky CH54A Tarhe. This audio addition brings to life through sound the power of this heavy twin engine lifter. Multiple layers of sound cones ensures a dynamic ever changing experience with realistic sounds at any distance. Great care was taken to sound design the Sky Crane so that it was a bit louder than some other aircraft in your fleet but not so that it’s simply distortion. While others boast High Definition sounds, for sound packs such as this from Sonic SOlutions, it’s simply a given. Edited and Mixed in 24bit at 48k and properly mastered down to 16bit 48k gives you clean, punchy sounds.

Note: This was designed using quick start up and shut down and may not give expected results when starting or shutting down manually.

Installation is simple. When prompted to select a folder to install browse to your desktop, after backing up your original Sky Crane sound move the new sound folder from your desktop over to replace the default folder.
