FS2004 1941 Culver Cadet (LCA). Only 368 or so of these birds were built in the early 1940’s. Back then metal was rationed because of the war effort. However, the fever to build efficient personal airplanes was still high. During this time Al Mooney designed the M12 Cadet airplane for the Culver Aircraft Co., and used the only material available, wood. By Dan Cowan. 800 Kb
