FSX/FS2004 – GPS And FMC Flight Plan Icons. These icons function to select, add, or delete waypoints, and to initiate or cancel a direct-to leg to any waypoint selected from the loaded flight plan. The logic for adding a new waypoint differs from the author’s previous fs9gpsdd.cab and G1000dd.cab updates. The icons are coded to work with any GPS or FMC gauge which uses the native gps system in FS2004 and FSX. This includes Garrett Smith’s very popular HoneywellFMC.cab, which can be found on this site as fmc-1.zip. Mouse-over tooltips are provided to identify the function of each icon. The user may enter, manage, and edit a flight plan from scratch, using only the GPS or FMC, if desired. Public Domain.

FSX – Legacy Radios Updates. This update package brings more legacy radios and updates to your existing FSX avionics. Updates for existing packages are for; my RNAVs mostly, to allow for Robbie’s “Logger” to remember the single waypoint data for the King KN-74, the Narco CLC-60 (if applied) and included is my latest RNAV, the King KNC-610. All these updates have a “Localizer Protection” added so the RNAV basically stays off-line when you dial in a localizer frequency into Nav 2. An experimental ID-824 Narco VOR head is in this package if you’re looking for something different to look at for Nav #2. A basic VOR and an RNAV version is within the “Narco_Gauges” folder. This is an introductory pacakage of the “Logger” application, which will follow my King KNS-81 RNAV, wherein has ten waypoint memories in it, for obvious reasons, Logger was selected. All XML files, as in past packages, can be installed manually, or with recomended editors like FS Panel Studio software for “better fits” to existing panels.

FSX/FS2004 – GPS Update. This is the original Microsoft gps_500 gauge, renamed and updated to provide specific functions to select, delete, and add waypoints. All of the original bmp and xml files from fs9gps.cab are included in fs9gpsdd.cab, along with one new file named gps_500dd.xml. This new gauge substitutes for the original gps_500. There are no changes to any of the graphics. All the new functions are accomplished using mouse areas around the bezel, with tooltips to identify the action performed by a mouseclick.

FSX/P3D – Boeing 737/777 Style Glass Instruments. A 737 style EICAS for the default FSX 737 and 777 style PFD, Nav, Clock, and EICAS glass instruments. This release contains an UPDATED navaid and airport database, a NEW EICAS checklist feature,
and brightness control for each instrument. Use these glass instruments with many FSX default aircraft. The PFD, EICAS, and Nav Displays work fine even with the Ultralight trike (as well as altitude call outs on descent). The instrument displays require DirectX10 and Vista, Win7, Win8, or W10. The instruments are designed to run on a second FSX screen or on multiple separate computers connected to a local net.

FSX – Collins Micro-Line basic legacy radios, XPDR and audio panel for light aircraft. Another “remake” of an existing XML radio from the FlightSim.Com’s library that is now as functional as FSX will allow. It includes both Nav/Comm 1 & 2, a factory PDF instruction manual and is compatible with your existing navigation equipment (VOR heads, etc.) Installation as with any XML Gauge, can be done using a text file editor or a recommended package like FS Panel Studio.

FS2004 – BAe Panel Project & Premier Aircraft Design Jetstream 31 Merge. These files create a merge between the FS2004 BAe Panel Project Jetstream 31 panel by Matthias Lieberecht, and the FS2004 Premier Aircraft Design Jetstream 31 model by Barry Blaisdell, Jean-Pierre Brisard and Bob May. This merge requires the Premier Aircraft Design Jetstream 31 to be installed in FS2004 already. The BAe Panel Project Jetstream 31 panel is not required for this merge, but familiarity with the original panel and it’s excellent manual is highly recommended. The panel requires Doug Dawson’s XMLSound gauge to be installed in FS2004 already. This merge includes an optional configuration file for Nick’s AI Jet Exhaust effects, which must be installed in FS2004 already.
