Hawaiian Airlines names Gai Tyrrell Regional Director Australia and NZ

Boeing names Donna Hrinak president Boeing Latin America

Spirit Airlines names Announces new Executive Appointments

Ted Botimer has been named the Senior Vice President of Network Planning and Revenue Management, Laurie David Villa is the new Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer, and Eric Netland has been promoted to Vice President of Pricing and Revenue Management.

“These three highly qualified individuals bring a diverse background of experiences from within and outside the traditional airline industry,” said Spirit’s President and CEO, Ben Baldanza.


Bell names Lisa Atherton VP Global Military Business Development

In this role, Atherton will lead the combined domestic and international military business development activities for Bell Helicopter. Atherton will oversee an integrated team dedicated to driving military sales to both the U.S. Government and international customers.

Previous to this role, she served as the Bell Helicopter program manager for the V-22 Osprey tiltrotor aircraft. Atherton came to Bell Helicopter from Textron Systems where she served as the Vice President of Area Attack at Textron Systems, leading a team which saw increased global sales and landed several major contracts in India, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Atherton is also a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.


Carsten Spohr new CEO of Deutsche Lufthansa AG

Gulf Air Appoints New Country Manager for Oman

Mr. Ramadhan, a Bahraini national, was previously based in Cairo where he held the position of country manager to Egypt for three years.

Gulf Air’s Acting Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. Ahmed Janahi, commented on the appointment: “During his time with Gulf Air, Ahmed has been instrumental in delivering sales results while building strong relationships with the airline’s key travel agents and corporates. His decade-long career in the aviation industry and strong interpersonal skills leave him perfectly positioned to drive the commercial performance of one of Gulf Air’s most longstanding and important routes.”


Fiji Airways Appoints Stefan Pichler as the New CEO
