HAECO names J. Lawrence new VP of Planning, Pricing and Production ControlHAECO Americas announced today that Jeff Lawrence will join the company’s maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) leadership team as Vice President of Planning, Pricing and Production Control. Jeff will assume responsibilities that have been held by Lon Chaney, who has announced his plans to retire by the end of 2015.

In his new role, Jeff will focus on work underway to consolidate planning and certain processes, including implementation of continuous improvement initiatives, across the company’s operations in ways that will support ongoing quality and performance for the company’s MRO customers.


Gulfstream names B.Durrence new Engineering VP

Gulfstream names B.Durrence new Engineering VPGulfstream Aerospace Corp. recently named Brian Durrence vice president of Engineering. He reports to Dan Nale, senior vice president, Programs, Engineering and Test, Gulfstream.

A 25-year Gulfstream veteran, Durrence started with the company as a structural engineer in 1990 and rose through the ranks to project engineer and project engineering manager before becoming chief engineer in 2010. Durrence has worked on a number of Gulfstream aircraft programs during his tenure, including the Gulfstream GIV-SP, GV, G450, G550, G650 and G650ER.

Skinner, Benson and Bunton report to Dan Clare, chief financial officer, Gulfstream.

“Bill and Kim have both led the Finance organization with great skill and leadership as Gulfstream experienced significant growth, especially over the past nine years,” Clare said. “The establishment of these two leadership roles will enhance the focus on key financial processes as we navigate new accounting regulations and standards for our business worldwide.”


Alaska airlines names new managing director

Alaska airlines names new managing directorAlaska Airlines has named 26-year aviation veteran John Ladner managing director of fleet, standards and operational control, a position he previously held from 2010-2011. In his new role Ladner will define the standards by which Alaska operates company aircraft and qualifies pilots, and validate that those standards are being followed. Ladner replaces Tom Kemp, who was recently promoted to vice president of flight operations.
