The 100 Years of Accident Investigation – What’s Next conference organized by AAIB will take place on 14 October, 2015 at the Royal Aeronautical Society in London, United Kingdom. Conference will be held in order to celebrate the centenary of the appointment of the UK’s first professional air safety investigator.
The main emphasis of the programme will be looking to the future, as AAIB explores the evolving landscape of air accident investigation and some of the emerging challenges and opportunities for accident investigation agencies.

The 5th Annual CEPA Expo was held on 19th ‐20th November and hosted key industry figures from across the globe as well as local, senior government officials. The aim of the congress was to build bridges between East and Western Europe and to help shape the future of business aviation.
The event was being held at Prague Castle for the first time after the organisers chose the venue to reflect the status that the event has gained since its inception in 2010.

Qatar Airways (QA) has announced that it will be taking part in the Singapore Airshow for the first time this year.
The airline will have its Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft on static display from 11th to 14th February 2014 at the Changi Exhibition Centre
This is also the first time that any airline will be showcasing the 787 aircraft at the Singapore Airshow, said the carrier in a statement released here on Sunday

Embraer will participate in the Singapore Airshow 2014, February 11 to 16, at Changi Exhibition Center, with its solutions for the Commercial, Executive, and Defense & Security markets. Four Embraer aircraft from the Executive Jets portfolio will be displayed during the show: Lineage 1000E, Legacy 650, Phenom 300 and the Phenom 100. Embraer has around 300 aircraft in the Asia Pacific and China regions.

On 6th of August, 2013, aviation training centre Baltic Aviation Academy (Vilnius, Lithuania) will launch webinar entitled ‘Explore type rating training’ revealing type rating training program and its process. Presentation will be dedicated for pilots who already have got airline transport pilot license and are looking for type rating possibilities.
During the presentation participants will be acquainted with the type rating entry requirements, duration, subjects and elements of ground and flight training, completion evaluation process. The webinar incorporates footage from student training session as well as a brief explanation of performed procedures.

The A380, the most advanced, spacious and fuel-efficient passenger aircraft in service, will delight the Russian aviation industry being a star attraction at the international aviation and space salon MAKS for the second time. MAKS takes place from August 27th to September 1st 2013 in Zhukovsky, Moscow. One of Airbus’ two flight test A380’s, MSN4, will be on static and flying display during the entire show.

Spairliners GmbH has named Sven-Uve Hueschler as new Managing and Financial Director. He assumed his role on July 01 and took over the responsibility of former Managing Director / CFO Andre Schulte-Bisping. Sven-Uve Hueschler has been with Lufthansa Technik AG for seven years and was previously in the position of Head of Business Development of the Product Division Aircraft Component Services.

This weekend around 200 aircraft and 250 pilots from over 20 nations gathered at Fliegerhorst Hinterstoisser in Zeltweg, Austria for one of the biggest airshows in Europe.
Taking a starring role at the Airpower 2013 Show were two Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft from the Austrian Armed Forces. They demonstrated an interception and subsequent forced landing of a C-130 Hercules as part of an air traffic control exercise. The exercise reflected the policing role that Eurofighter Typhoon has been undertaking with six nations and across 20 operational units around the world as it guards the skies in both the northern and southern hemisphere.
