Happy 50th to the Queen of the Skies! Boeing 747 Compilation | Toronto Pearson Int’lHello everyone! Welcome to this video!

As most Avgeeks know, on Saturday, February 9, 2019, the Boeing 747 celebrated its 50th Birthday with the 50th Anniversary of its first flight that was conducted on Sunday, February 9, 1969.

From that moment on this aircraft earned the name “The Queen of the Skies” and became Boeing’s most iconic aircraft for over thirty years.

To this day over 1,500 Boeing 747’s have been produced in several variants including the -100, -200, -300, -400 and the -8 being the latest, as well as their respective freighter, transport and governmental variants.

This video showcases a good variety of Boeing 747 action I got at Toronto Pearson Int’l from the years I’ve been spotting here. Besides the main scheduled passenger Boeing 747 service, I have also been able to film government, cargo and am the only YouTuber at Toronto Pearson Int’l to catch all six Boeing 747-8’s that ever landed here including Cathay Pacific Cargo, Atlas Air, Lufthansa, Korean Air Cargo, AirBridgeCargo and Cargolux.
