BOEING 747 CROSSWIND LANDING during a STORM at Düsseldorf – GREAT PILOT SKILLSIt finally happened. Last wednesday I was able to film a Boeing 747 crosswind landing at Düsseldorf. We don` t have regular Boeing 747`s at Düsseldorf and the shown Wamos B747 oprerated a subcharter flight for Condor because the “regular” Airbus A330 of Condor had to deal with a delay of 10 hours and a replacement aircraft was needed to avoid a scheduling chaos.

I have filmed lots of Airbus A380 crosswind landings but this was the first time I was able to see a 747. I have` a filmed a few Jumbo Crosswind Landings at Amsterdam Schiphol but that` s not the same cause I prefer the “head-on” view, when it comes to crosswinds.
