30+ Mins of Plane Spotting – Watching Airplanes at Orlando International Airport KMCO/MCOI needed something to kick off the 2017 year and Orlando delivered. Sometimes I opt for short-notice planespotting if my schedule allows and such was the case for this video. This film is dedicated to my friend Brandon, a planespotter, pilot, future airline/commercial pilot and all-around avgeek, who invited me down for plane spotting at Orlando International Airport KMCO/MCO if I had some free-time. MCO is one of those airports I love, and knew after filming there last year that it was only a matter of time before I returned for another feature. We had a blast filming, exploring, and roaming the airport for a taste of what central Florida aviation has to offer.

I very much enjoy getting a local planespotter’s input whenever I travel to an airport to shoot video, even if I know the airport well, to gain the local perspective. I plan to do many more such videos in future hopefully.

I know, for past uploads, I used to write very long and detailed descriptions for my videos that described at length the recent travels “Recently visited” of the airliners and airplanes featured and other facts. I do still plan to do this kind of thing in future occasionally, but I have come to a hard reality and that is that I no longer really have the time to sit around and write out long descriptions any more as my life has become increasingly busier. . For some time I kept from uploading videos simply because I would wait around until I had the time to write a fitting description for whatever I was going to upload. Such will no longer be the case. In 2017, I plan to upload many more videos than the few I uploaded in 2016 and this will require me to skip writing out super long and detail descriptions.
