FSX/FS2004 –  Garmin G5 With PFD And HSI Modes. This XML gauge simulates the new Garmin G5 electronic flight instrument with PFD and HSI modes. It is compact (3.5″ display), low cost ($1200 for the experimental and LSA version, $2100 for the certificated version) and simple (it lacks synthetic vision, so has no moving map GPS display in the background). But it replaces the old vacuum gyro attitude indicator, and offers many other functions as well. Because it is certificated for over 400 aircraft models, it can be a good upgrade in older aircraft.

Hi Bob: Firstly let me say what a great PFD you have created, I have been after something like this for some time. I fly a Foxbat 22 and it has an Ultra Map PFD, and this Garmin is actually very similar. I’d like to ask you a question: I am in the process of building a 2d panel of the Foxbat for myself to practice flying on, and it will include your G5 along with regular FSX instrumentation. The problem I have, is that when I rotate the knob on the G5 it adjusts the analogue altimeter subscale on the backup altimeter and visa versa. Is there a way to alter some coding in the G5 or the altimeter cfg to stop this happening. I have already added a second line to the main aircraft cfg to allow for 2 altimeters, but still I cannot get them to operate separately Your help would be greatly appreciated.Thank you.
    Kind Regards
    Mike
