HAECO Group announced today that it has completed its first C-check on a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner and redelivered the aircraft to a leading international airline in September. This marks HAECO as one of the first independent Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) service providers to perform a C-check on this new generation of aircraft.

Augustus Tang, HAECO Group’s Chief Executive Officer said: “This milestone underscores HAECO Group’s technical expertise and dedication to operational excellence, adding a new chapter to the continual advancement of the Group’s capabilities.”

In addition to airframe maintenance checks, HAECO Group provides full line services for the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, including defect rectification, certification and aircraft release – at Hong Kong International Airport and at seven major aviation hubs in Mainland China, including Xiamen, Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Zhengzhou, Nanjing and Chongqing. HAECO Cabin Solutions’ Featherweight™ 3040 and 3500 series aircraft seats are manufacturer-approved for line fitting on the Boeing 787 Dreamliner.

In March, HAECO Group acquired from The Boeing Company an advanced, simulation-based maintenance training suite for the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, making it the first MRO service provider and Aircraft Maintenance Training Organisation (AMTO) in China to become fully licensed to provide computer-based Boeing 787 training to its own personnel as well as to third-party customers.
