Saudi Arabian Boeing 777-200ER RWY 24L go around  Toronto Pearson Int’l May 16, 2015IN THIS VIDEO: Welcome to spotting on Saturday, May 16, 2015. I thought I’d upload a video early since this was an epic rare sight. We were spotting RWY 24L landings at International Blvd and Carlingview Dr. Saudi Arabian was the next aircraft in line for RWY 24L. Tower gave him landing clearance, but cautioned him there was no glide path. When he was 2 min out I looked around for him but couldn’t find him. Then I looked up and saw Saudi at 4,000 feet! He was way too high. I jumped to my camera to record it. Then he started swaying left and right at exceptional degrees to try to lower the aircraft. Unfortunately, even though I thought I had a good video, I wasn’t able to fully see it due to the clouds in the way and the sun behind me, it interfered with the view and I apologise for this. you can still see Saudi as I zoom in and out trying to back before I got focus on him as it went around. Thanks a lot to Stanley Ip for allowing me to use his photos so I could get a better view to you guys. Saudi followed up with a go around and landed second time on RWY 24L safely. In conclusion, that could have been a frightening event for passengers but that is one of the coolest things I’ve every seen at CYYZ. Thanks all and Enjoy the video!!
